All of the harbors and marinas in Juneau are either controlled by the City and Borough, or by the owners, in the case of the private marinas. The Derby Committee has no control or knowledge of the availability of moorage at any of these facilities.
The CBJ harbors include Harris Harbor and Aurora Basin in downtown Juneau, Douglas Harbor in Douglas, and the Don Statter Harbor in Auke Bay. All of these generally have some transient moorage available and you’re advised to call them on VHF Channel 16 when you get close to town.
There are two private marinas — one is Fisherman’s Bend in Auke Bay, and the other is Donohue’s Marina in Tee Harbor.
